Welcome to Hugtopia! We're so happy to have you all here. We know it can be stressful, starting in a game (or adding a character!) so in an effort to help, we bring you an Intro CR Meme!

We'll be posting this meme each application cycle so please be sure to keep an eye out and help each other feel welcome. And be sure to check back often, someone may have a fun new idea in the middle of the night that you might not want to miss out on!

Brief Intro: Newcomer, here! I've been RPing for who knows how long, am into all things Hello Kitty/Pusheen/cherry blossoms, a frequent lucid dreamer, and have two ridiculous cats. My main fandoms (aside from My Hero Academia) are Vampire Knight, Yuri!!! on Ice, Akatsuki no Yona, and Soukyuu no Fafner, to name a few. I can be reached at existentially or PM!

Character Name: Shouto Todoroki
Canon: My Hero Academia + 1 year in empatheias
Age: 16

Appearance: Both his eyes and hair display heterochromia! On the right he has white hair and a gray eye, and on the left it's red and teal, respectively, with there also being a large burn scar around his left eye. He's also around 5'7, and is fairly well built for his age.

Brief personality: A little cliché, but he's a bit like his Quirk (the dual ability of creating fire and ice)— passionate and driven, with a bit of a temper, but cool and collected. While not loud about it, he's very motivated when it comes to his goals, and willing to put in the hard work. He tends to be more serious than not, and isn't the most social person; in general he's new when it comes to making friends, but does make the effort. Additionally, he's a bit earnest to a fault, possesses a streak of (dense) naivety, and is kind and considerate, if in a quiet sort-of way.

Brief history: Initially a cold and antisocial kid who was only born to surpass the #1 professional hero, part of which involved relentless training by his asshole father, Todoroki was blindsided by the ~Shounen Protag Power of Friendship~ once he began to attend U.A. Academy's Heroics Department. He never had much of a normal childhood, so the whole camaraderie/friendship/teamwork thing was pretty foreign to him. Something which he eventually came to pass as he grew into himself.

The year where Todoroki spent in empatheias saw him progress even further. Although he came to be more aware of his emotions and how to explore them (a good thing!), he was able to try things he never had the opportunity to back home. He actively put himself out there in order to meet others and make friends, which turned out rather nicely for him. — Along with remembering Empatheias, he also still is capable of Dunamis, which is the game's version of magic controlled by emotions

Shipping Preferences: He and Momo have a bit of a thing/not!thing going on. Amazingly enough, he learned what a "crush" was, and realized he definitely had one. That aside, gen and friendships would be great!

What your character wants/needs: Zaru (cold) soba. Lots of it. Please. It's been eons.

Seeking: Friendships and exploring! Trying even more new things, while still enjoying the old!
