Welcome to Hugtopia! We're so happy to have you all here. We know it can be stressful, starting in a game (or adding a character!) so in an effort to help, we bring you an Intro CR Meme!

We'll be posting this meme each application cycle for all players to meet and plot together, so please be sure to keep an eye out and help each other feel welcome. And be sure to check back often; someone may have a fun new idea in the middle of the night that you might not want to miss out on!

It is recommended that new players or new characters include (NEW) in your subject line, so other players know to welcome you! You can also leave a comment to the NEW top-level mod thread with a link to your own top-level, so people can easily find you.

Age: Young-ish?? I'd probably put her at maybe 12-13 in human years.

Appearance: Here!
Brief personality: A sweet and airheaded music-loving cat. She's going to be your friend, you just don't know it yet.
Brief history:
• Hummy is a magical talking cat living in a world of music called Major Land. There are humans, furries, living musical instruments that play themselves, and a lot of other magic talking cats there.
• Every year, a "Song Fairy" is selected to sing the "Melody of Happiness" which keeps balance in Major Land and ensures peace and happiness. This is a very big honor. Hummy is chosen this year!
• Bad guys claiming to be from Minor Land show up (including (former?!) bestie) and try to rearrange all the notes of the score during the Big Important Concert where the Melody of Happiness is supposed to be performed
• The Queen of Major Land sends all the notes to Earth to prevent the bad guys from uing them. Sends Hummy and the Fairy Tones to collect them.
• Magical girls (Precure) happen. Hummy lives with one of them. They all work together to collect the notes for the Legendary Score while stopping the bad guys from trying to do the same.

Anything beyond that is spoiler territory but hit me up if you're curious!
Shipping Preferences: She is but a humble cat, do not make it weird. But friendshipping? Hell yeah.

What your character wants/needs:
• Helping out - Ideally, Hummy would like to go back home, y'know? But as someone who has herself dropped the "hey there stranger, you gotta help me save this totally unrelated world" bomb on someone before, she can't just turn a blind eye to Havenwall's plight. She wants to be as helpful as possible to the residents!
• Music - Music is the cornerstone of Hummy's entire world, both metaphorically and literally. She wants to fill Havenwell and its residents with the joy of music.
• Friends - Perhaps the only thing more important than music! She'd love to have her friends with her here - not being with them bums her out. But she's met lots of great people here so far and looks forward to meeting many more (especially if they love music!)
Seeking: eVERYTHING. Please make friends with this cat, be weirded out by this cat, make music with this cat. Negative CR would be super good and funny too if you can manage to dislike her, lol.

Luckily, both children have zero qualms about casually petting random cats. Kaito is entirely likely to either guess that Hummy is a new cat cafe child, or randomly a stray cat (wow pink wow good job Havenwell wow). Vianca reads to the Ohma kitties but is also much more likely to identify pink cat = probably either a pokemon or magic. Maybe a magic pokemon. Wow.

(woof that has been my whole year haha. just a constant string of "oh no oops 8( oh no oops." BUT SAME. or if I did "oh no oops" I am very cool with a prod of "hello did you oops." ((I probably did)) )

Pet! That! Cat! Hummy visits the cat cafe fairly often so it'd be a totally reasonable assumption (well, barring the fact that she's also usually stuffing her face with baked goods while she's there.)

I'm totally down to, like, inbox some junk if you wanna play something out or else i may see about throwing up a log or something this month? :|a i dunno exactly yet. We shall see how September shakes out.

I haven't gotten around to talking to the cute perky cat again AND I KEEP MEANING TO! With too much bizarre shit going on in this place, Cloud will be far more blase about talking cat now.

Hahah~ the weird junk around here certainly has a way of desensitizing a person to other weird junk, huh?

But yes hang out with this cat, Cloud!! I'll have to find a way to get in some good tags for you next event or ...something?? I'm also always down to backtag in their initial thread or any of the the previous event logs too if you wanted to continue/do something there!
