Welcome to Hugtopia! We're so happy to have you all here. We know it can be stressful, starting in a game (or adding a character!) so in an effort to help, we bring you an Intro CR Meme!

We'll be posting this meme each application cycle for all players to meet and plot together, so please be sure to keep an eye out and help each other feel welcome. And be sure to check back often; someone may have a fun new idea in the middle of the night that you might not want to miss out on!

It is recommended that new players or new characters include (NEW) in your subject line, so other players know to welcome you! You can also leave a comment to the NEW top-level mod thread with a link to your own top-level, so people can easily find you.

Brief personality: Are you lonely and want to discuss philosophical questions about your existance? Then let Kaworu be all over your loneliness and ask all sort of intrusive questions. HE LOVES EVERYONE, NO EXCEPTIONS. While Kaworu is very straightforward and will say "i love you" to pretty much anyone, he sees no one individually (unless you are a 14 year old boy called Shinji Ikari), so he means "love" in a very broad way. He is hard to understand, he asks a lot of question and generally he will be a huge weirdo because he doesn't actually know a lot about the world. Sorry about that, but he means well, though, I promise! He also has no self-care, no survival instincts and doesn't worry about himself at all; he honestly doesn't see himself as someone important.

Brief history: So! Kaworu isn't a human, he is actually an alien of sorts (but not really) which humans call Angels, and he is the last angel - Tabris. Humans kinda screwed him over and put his soul into a human body and treated him like a labrat for most of his human life. His kind was meant to destroy humans and pretty much every living being on Earth so Angels could take over buuuuuuut then Kaworu fell in love with a human boy named Shinji and eventually fell in love with all of mankind. And so he sacrificed himself to save them (and meanwhile doomed his race).

Shipping Preferences: No preferences, throw everything at me.

What your character wants/needs: Honestly, he needs to stop seeing humans as a whole and start seeing them individually (it will be H A R D). He needs to understand that he too is important in a way, and that his role does not define him. He also needs to learn about the world, this boy has never even eaten anything besides from pills.

Seeking: ANYTHING. the boy just arrived, after all. But he needs to learn to live apart from Shinji and the angels, and needs to learn his own worth somehow. And his own individuality too. Good luck with that though HE IS VERY STUBBORN ABOUT HIS ROLE. He specifically gravitates towards broken and pained people, loneliness and sadness, SO HEY, LET THIS WEIRDO ASK YOU VERY INTRUSIVE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT ALL.

Hello! I don't have a comment up yet but I'm Bret! Nice to meet you!

Kaito is a sad dog that is very overprotective and also wants to smooch Shinji (but doesn't know he wants to smooch Shinji) so I apologize for him in advance. There is a 50/50 chance their meeting will either go fine or terribly, but it is inevitable because Shinji lives with him. So. Looking forward to whatever happens!!

Kaworu would probably have a much smoother encounter with Vianca because she is a very small, non-human 10-year-old who runs a shop you can cuddle in. Come cuddle, Kaworu.

Kaito can smooch Shinji, Kaworu would be very happy for them! He is non-confrontational, so whatever happens, Kaworu just really won't mind that much.

Also Vianca aaaa that sounds adorable, they totally should meet!

As a (out of practice) Kaworu RPer myself, can I just say you do a lovely job? (I've been threading with you on the TDM with my OC Dot. I still don't know if i should app or not...9_9a) I'm really pumped to see him here. What a gd weirdo.

I'd love for Kaworu and Hummy to meet and talk about how great music is together and stuff. Just don't break her neck like Manga Kaworu. :V

Anyway hello! I'm honestly pretty excited to have a Kaworu around and see what kind of shenanigans he gets up to, but also please let Shinji help you learn about living human life as something other than a lab rat. There's lots of tasty food to be eaten! And kind people to meet!

Shinji is more than welcome to show him all the stuff! kaworu is very one track-minded though, he is sorry for all the frustration he may cause (except he probably doesn't realize it)

Don't worry, Shinji's working with a lot of patience right now, surely it won't get to a particularly frustrating point any time soon. Just a lot of raw emotions to deal with! It's fine. He's fine.

Hi there fellow new person! And also fellow alien of sorts/angel! I have only ever seen the Evangelion and remember nothing about it besides a giant person getting cut in half but! Your character sounds amazing and like someone who would definitely make dear ol' not-going-to-admit-he's-lonely-even-to-himself Sephiroth here uncomfortable in some really great ways :)

Hello hello! I'm absolutely canon blind to Sephiroth apart from Last Order movie which I watched like 15 years ago and naturally did not understand much (but the art was nice) - however, I'd really love if these two met! Kaworu has little concept of "you should stop because people are uncomfortable with your questions" so he will ask them a lot - hopefully Sephiroth is ready for that (or not, no one ever is :D )
