Welcome to Hugtopia! We're so happy to have you all here. We know it can be stressful, starting in a game (or adding a character!) so in an effort to help, we bring you an Intro CR Meme!

We'll be posting this meme each application cycle for all players to meet and plot together, so please be sure to keep an eye out and help each other feel welcome. And be sure to check back often; someone may have a fun new idea in the middle of the night that you might not want to miss out on!

It is recommended that new players or new characters include (NEW) in your subject line, so other players know to welcome you! You can also leave a comment to the NEW top-level mod thread with a link to your own top-level, so people can easily find you.

Yeah... that's a common reaction when folks rediscover the series, haha. It is pretty wild for a shoujo manga to hang on this long!

Hmm, I'm not sure what I have to offer besides a similarly introverted sort of person who would likely leave well enough alone for similar reasons, but, for a quick laugh,

to entertain the first thought I had when I saw his hair was, "gee, in the right sort of lighting, from behind, that would probably be a double take for her son if they didn't encounter one another in passing otherwise" (obviously not from the front at all.)

Though I think after that sort of awkwardness they'd be more likely to try and avoid each other, oops.

Hi there fellow new person! And also fellow alien of sorts/angel! I have only ever seen the Evangelion and remember nothing about it besides a giant person getting cut in half but! Your character sounds amazing and like someone who would definitely make dear ol' not-going-to-admit-he's-lonely-even-to-himself Sephiroth here uncomfortable in some really great ways :)

Her work at the cat cafe aside, she is pretty knowledgeable about the current situation, since she's been here a little over a year and has involved herself in research.

Brief personality: Your typical Persona protagonist! He's reserved and quiet, operating like he has a word quota per day, but he cares a lot about the people around him and will do his best to help out anyone. Loyal, dedicated, and way less aloof and apathetic than at the beginning of his series. Always puts others ahead of himself. Loves all things music, eating a ridiculous amount of food, and sometimes has a bad habit of napping in weird places.

Brief history: Sort of just gave up his soul to save all of humanity after learning about the power of friendship, basically.

Shipping Preferences: No plans here, but will go with whatever!

What your character wants/needs: ALL of the Social Links, please! Like I said, he's a typical Persona protagonist, so hand holding and hugs are always a go! He's not shy about that at all. He'll be missing all but one of his Personas, or all those other parts of his soul, so he'll want to make up for it by making new friends and rebuilding what he can. He's good at listening to anyone's grievances in companionable silence and doesn't mind being dragged around places either.

Seeking: Same as above, all of the Social Links! Friends, companions, acquaintances, everything. He's alive now that he's here and he'll want to make the most of it by learning more about this world and just living a normal life for once! So all of the friends ever. Also, if anyone is hurt or needs medical attention, he can use his Persona to heal, and he's more than willing to help in that way. Same with if you need something set on fire, frozen, or electrically shocked.

I'm going to grad school online to become a tech librarian and currently work at an elementary school library in California. I like video games, drawing, reading, technology, and am known for too many ninja who are dubbed by Michael Sinterniklaas. (I also play Ivan Karelin from Tiger & Bunny.) Brief personality: Sasuke's a kind-hearted, traumatized guy hidden behind a mask of seeming uninterested/uncaring, teasing, money focused, and/or being a proper ninja. He has a soft spot for kids and animals.

Brief history: A lot of people have died in likely two different points in his life when he was a child, leaving him the lone "monkey" with a blood stained face. He's a ninja with huge survivors guilt and fiercely loyal to Yukimura, who he considers his light and would die for. Things aren't going well for the Takeda Army, so that's even more stress on Sasuke. If you want to know more, here is his application.

Characters are also free to recognize him/his name being the same as the famous Sengoku ninja.

Shipping Preferences: Not looking for shipping though not fully ruling it out either. However, Sasuke denies his feelings so much and wants to go home; any ship will be hard to set sail.

What your character wants/needs: Hugs and a good cry. Seriously. I always say that Sasuke needs hugs for how horrible his life has been. He's the team mom who could use someone to be the mom friend to him.

Seeking: More friends who will force him teach to see himself as a person instead of a tool. War-torn world support group. People to encourage his budding interest in arts and crafts. No he's not making a plushie of his master to cuddle when he's feeling homesick Yes, he is

Brief personality: Confident and nonchalant. Can be seen as cocky and annoying. Acts younger than he actually is. Sweet tooth.
Brief history: A teacher at a Jujutsu sorcerer technical school with a super over-powered ability that lets him control space. He's been a rebel since high school and wants to make some change in the Jujutsu sorcerer world.

Shipping Preferences: why would anyone want to date this annoying guy...

What your character wants/needs: Anything! he can be a bully to your character, or some "good-looking nice guy" for someone to hold hands with. Sass battle is always a plus. What he actually needs that he can learn to be more human because he's supposed to be human, not "the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the century" or whatever his title is.

Seeking: Anything, I got no current plans except having him annoy a bunch of people.
