Outside of potential plans already proposed, possibilities: Vianca and Shinji could swap info while they're transcribing, he'd be totally down to share whatever pieces of text he gets. Also, if Kai, say, needed to be dragged to safety due to constantly flinging himself into danger, I do have an incredibly tall boy who could facilitate the coveted Kai piggy-back ride.
